Importance of Memorizing Quran in Islam  

The Quran is one of the holy books revealed by Allah (SWT). Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the one upon whom Allah revealed this book. In a Hadith on memorizing the Quran's significance, Abu Ummama said he found God’s messenger to, saying, "Recite the Qur'ān, for on the day of resurrection it will come as an intercessor for those who recite it. Recite the two shining surahs, Baqara and sūra Āl Imrān (Qur’ān, 2 and 3). This indicates that the holy Quran will intercede for the Huffaz when Allah will judge the deeds of all people from Day One to Day of Judgement.

So what do you think of him who acts according to this?" So, it is obvious that memorization of the Quran is not only beneficial for the Hafiz of the Quran but also a source of blessings to his parents in the hereafter.
