The National Admissions Scheduling Committee of the Pakistan Medical Commission, at its meeting held on Friday, July 15, at the PMC head office, decided by consensus on the admission schedule for the 2022-23 admission to the colleges of medicine and odontology. PMC MDCAT 2022 registration has been completed and more than 200 thousand students have registered for the PMC Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) 2022.

Admission to the Government Medical Colleges for the 2022 session
It was also decided that the admissions of all public medical colleges will start from October 17, 2022 and will end completely on December 31, 2022, including all special places.
Admission to Private Medical Colleges must be completed before January 31, 2023.
Admission to Dental College 2022
Admissions to public dental schools will end on February 14, 2023, and finally, admissions to private dental schools will end on February 28, 2023. Colleges and universities, according to the regulations, are free to start the application process any time after May 2022.

MDCAT Result 2022
The result of the MDCAT exam will be declared on 7th October 2022 with more than 200,000 students across Pakistan and internationally registered to take the MDCAT exam.
Students who took the MDCAT in 2021 will also be able to use their 2021 MDCAT 2022 equivalent results when applying. For admission to public schools, each Province or territory will determine the merit structure based on the student having qualified the MDCAT at 65% for admission to medical schools and 55% for admission to dental schools. Private colleges/universities frame their individual merit criteria for admissions, subject to students having re-scored the MDCAT
