The Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) has now lifted the age restriction for MDCAT 2022. Students under the age of 16 are now eligible to apply for the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT 2022) conducted by PMC. Prior to this, a minimum age limit of 16 years was established as the eligibility criteria for MDCAT.
It is interesting that this year there is no eligibility criteria for MDCAT 2022. Any student from any background or brand can appear in MDCAT 2022. PMC National MDCAT 2022 will be held from September 7 to 30 in 20 cities across Pakistan. More than 130 thousand students have already registered for MDCAT 2022. Students will be able to register online on the PMC website.
Like last year, students will be able to select a suitable time slot and test center for themselves, which will be confirmed by PMC in due course. Passing the national MDCAT with a minimum of 65% is required to apply to any public or private medical school in the country. While the pass rate for admissions to dental schools is 55%.
MDCAT National Calendar 2022:
- Registration start (only for students under 16 years old): July 16-20, 2022
- MDCAT 2022 test: September 7 to September 30, 2022
- Issuance of registration tickets: August 1, 2022
