The Ehsaas school stipend program now extends to the upper secondary level. Students in class 6-10 will also receive a quarterly education stipend. According to the details, the Benazir Income Support Program Board has formally approved the inclusion of first and second year intermediate students in the Wasila Education Program.

The board also approved a stipend of Rs 3,500 per quarter for boys and Rs 4,000 per person for first and second year girls. Enrolled students will also receive PKR: 3,000 quarterly stipends. It should be recalled that the BISP Steering Committee formally approved on June 16 this month the inclusion of Upper Secondary Education in the program and referred the matter to the BISP Board for final approval.

It should be noted that the government has also approved the inclusion of secondary education in the Waseela Taleem Program. Beginning next July, all deserving students in elementary through 12th grade will receive quarterly scholarships. A stipend of Rs. 3,000 will be awarded as a graduation stipend after completion of primary.

3. Higher Secondary/Intermediate Class   : 4000/- 

For Boys

1. Primary Class  : 1500/-
2. Secondary/Matric Class : 2500/-
3. Higher Secondary/Intermediate Class  : 3500/-
