What is the expert channel development role?
Channel Development Expert is responsible for developing channel sales, DFS and GSM planning, annual business plan goals, demand planning/target distribution, and governance between regional sales units.
The role reports directly to the Channel Development Manager with an extended team of 8 team member
What does Expert Channel Development do?
- Plan and manage the annual sales plan for all DFS and GSM products
- DFS product planning and route-to-market strategy for DFS products
- Responsible for DFS and GSM sales KPI growth strategy and channel growth
- New initiatives/retail development and execution plan for DFS and GSM business
- Work closely with regional sales team and internal management stakeholders.
- Ensure growth in new and existing alternative delivery channels for GSM
- Incorporation of new ADC partners, assignment of objectives and evaluation of performance
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in a channel planning/business development role
- You must have a great vision for business.
- Experience in stakeholder management and strong negotiation skills.
- Analytical thinking and strong communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems
- MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
