Traffic Challan online payment via e-Pay Punjab app has started across the Punjab, allowing citizens of 36 districts to pay challans online. This was reported during a progress review meeting where PITB Chairman Muhammad Asif Balal Lodhi stated that e-pay Punjab continues to make it easier for citizens by allowing them to pay taxes online through various payment channels.
Developed by PITB in collaboration with the Punjab Department of Finance, e-Pay Punjab has collected over 67 billion revenue to date and offers electronic payments for 21 taxes/levies from 10 departments. e-Pay Punjab is the first government payment aggregator that allows people to pay their taxes through multiple electronic payment channels.
e-Pay Punjab has made it easy for citizens to pay traffic bills in five major cities in Punjab. You can pay through Internet banking, ATM, bank teller window and other digital payment channels.
Citizens can also view the details of the paid challan online through the app and website.
