Winter vacation in schools to start from January 3 NCOC



The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has announced that winter break at educational institutions will begin on January 3. The ruling will not apply to very cold and foggy areas. An NCOC meeting was held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister Asad Omar at which the issue of rescheduling the winter holidays was discussed. At the meeting it was decided that the winter holidays would be held from January 3 in educational institutions other than areas with intense cold and fog. By keeping schools open, millions of students will be able to benefit from vaccines.

The National Command and Operations Center said that Punjab can have 10-12 days of vacation, Baluchistan can have 2-3 months of vacation, while the respective authorities will decide the length of the winter holidays in Sindh, KPK and Islamabad. .

 “It has been decided that the winter holidays for educational institutions will start from January 3, 2022 (except in areas affected by extreme weather conditions or fog). Provincial entities will notify accordingly, ”announced the NCOC.

The NCOC urges parents to vaccinate their children as soon as possible and also to vaccinate their children against polio. Give a second dose, the purpose of rescheduling the vacation is to vaccinate as many students as possible with the corona vaccine.
