UHS issues public notice for MBBS BDS Admission 2021-UHS Lahore University of Health Sciences

UHS Lahore University of Health Sciences has issued a public notice for MBBS and BDS applicants to prepare documents for admission to the Punjab government medical and dental colleges. The admissions process for the MBBS / BDS program in Punjab government medical and dental institutions will start soon. The admission schedule and online application procedure will be announced separately. The purpose of this public notice is to inform aspiring candidates of the documents required for admissions so that they can prepare them in advance.

Applicants should know that with online applications, they will be asked to submit some MANDATORY documents without which their application will be considered incomplete and will be rejected. The list of these mandatory documents is provided here for the convenience of candidates. It is advisable to prepare a digital copy of these documents well in advance using a mobile device or scanner to avoid any inconvenience when submitting the application for admission online:

Basic mandatory documents for all seat categories.

  • (Open Merit, Underdeveloped Districts, Students with Disabilities, Cholistan and Pakistanis Abroad / Dual Nationality Holders of Pakistani Origin)
  • Enrollment certificate (SSC) or results card issued by the corresponding BISE / Level O equivalence certificate, etc., issued by the COPIB;

Candidates with a foreign degree must also upload their original results issued by the foreign university / board / school showing their grades in science subjects (Biology, Chemistry and Physics / Mathematics);

Important instructions regarding submission of documents:

Note that:

  • Unless you have submitted all the required documents, your application will be considered incomplete. If you are applying for more than one category, you must upload additional mandatory documents for that category along with all the basic documents. Receipts for documents in preparation (for example, Domicile, CNIC, etc.) will not be accepted.

  • Make sure all information on the document is legible. If a document is in a language other than English, a certified English translation from the relevant embassy must also be included.

  • Scan your document in black and white. It is recommended to scan at a resolution of 300 DPI. The file size must not exceed 2.0 MB per document. Please note that the PHOTO and SIGNATURE must be uploaded only in JPEG, JPG or PNG format. The other DOCUMENTS must be in PDF format.

  • Make sure the orientation of the scanned document matches that of the original. For example, documents that are printed vertically (portrait) must be scanned to appear in portrait format. Documents printed horizontally (landscape) must appear in landscape format.

  • Don't upload all of your supporting documents as one file. Create a tagged PDF for each type of document you need to upload. However, you can create a single file of several documents of a similar nature, for example, completion certificates / interim certificates for underdeveloped district seats.

  • Multi-page documents (eg Passport) or double-sided documents (eg CNIC) should be saved as a single PDF document. Make sure all the pages of the document are in the correct order.

  • All documents must be saved in a non-secure, tagged PDF format before they can be uploaded. Your PDF document should not be password protected.

  • Do not distort the image or the signature by reducing the width (cone head effect). Any edition must maintain the same proportions and quality.

  • Do not get your documents, especially photos and identity documents, scanned from an unknown person or share your digitized data with strangers.

  • CAUTION: It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to submit the correct and complete documents with their application. Aspiring candidates are advised that each and every document they submit will be thoroughly scrutinized. Applicants found to have submitted falsified / fabricated documents will be barred from admission for a period of seven (07) years in accordance with the provisions of the Prospectus.
